A couple of months ago we lost Mia, our beloved rescue cat who lived with my partner for nine years. It left a huge hole in our lives and we’re still very much grieving, but we also knew that we had a chance to direct our love towards another unfortunate feline if a suitable opportunity arose.
Predictably, it did. My partner was browsing through the RSPCA website and came across a 6-month-old kitten that we now call Mischief – because over the few weeks we have had her, she has become more and more confident at causing havoc in the flat!

Don’t let the eyes fool you!
Now, what you can’t see from that picture is that poor Mischief only has three legs. Unfortunately she was involved in a car accident not long after she was born, and they had no choice but to amputate one of her rear legs.

“Look at me, I’m so cute!”
The lack of a limb does NOT stop her though! She runs around the flat with incredible speed and athleticism – jumping to high surfaces and climbing on anything she can find! She also LOVES playing in her cube:

She regularly destroys the cube by jumping on it
She’s a proper hunter too. She has a clear favourite toy at the moment – an orange ball with bells on a string. She can play with it for hours and never get bored!

Mischief loves hunting around corners
There’s been a real change of energy in the flat, with Mischief wanting to play all-day, every day. She’s gradually getting more comfortable around guests too, and she’s even managed to play with some children without getting too spooked.
Most of all though, she’s just incredibly cute:
Would you like to turn your cat’s charm into lasting memories? Then Mischief thinks you should check out my cat photography packages or give me a call right now.
